Henry Peach Robinson-Little Red Ridding Hood

The strange world project is to ” Create two views into a strange world. In three 11×17 panels combine source images to show two varied aspects of an alternate universe—a world that obeys laws that are not familiar to us.”

I love this black-white image with a person flying out of the window. The image is historical yet modern.

Max Erst is probably the one I will go with. His works are deliberately “strange world”.

The group of pictures below are especially interesting: They utilized size and proportion to create this unsettled sense. I guess this is what I want for this project: refreshing, tempting and skillful.
